Hello, my name is Michael Dornemann and I am a sculptor who sells his work on EBay. I have recently joined the EBay art community and have found it to be a very good way to display and promote my artwork. Going back a little bit. I have been developing the technique I use for acrylic sculptures for about two years now. When it came time to start marketing and showing my work I researched the different avenues available for marketing myself. I explored the traditional avenues of art fairs and gallery showing and found them to be impractical for my situation. I have had friends who had purchased art from Ebay and others who have sold other merchandise on EBay and decided to check it out. What I found was a way to reach many more viewers than the traditional method of displaying artwork, and a very vibrant community of artist that I don't think you could find anywhere else. Looking from a collector's point of view if there is a style of art you are looking for it can be found on Ebay and maybe even a few that you didn't know you were looking for. In my own experience as a seller it has been better than I had hoped for in the amount of interest generated and quality customers. If you have any questions about my artwork please feel free to ask.
